Amandine EUDES, your local guide in Normandy
I was born in Normandy, in the area of the Mont Saint Michel.
Fascinated by history and cultural heritage, I studied Humanities for my undergraduate degree in Art History. I then completed a Master’s in cultural heritage management. In the process, my career goals became clear: I wished to bring people in contact with their past. In order to do so, to be your local guide in Normandy, I obtained a second undergraduate degree, this time as a guide lecturer.
Today, I am a licensed guide lecturer, with a professional tourist chauffeur license, as well as a certified hiking trail leader.
Thus I am able to guide you throughout my region, Normandy, in your discovery of its history, landscapes, and cultural heritage.
After six years of working with diverse audiences, such as providing educational services to school groups, guiding individual visitors, lecturing French groups at the Abbey of Mont Saint Michel, not to mention acting as guide-chauffeur for foreigners, I decided to create my own business in tune with my values and experience.
Now in addition, with 18 months of working in a home for mentally handicapped persons, I like to adapt my visits to a broad audience through multisensory visits in particular.
These multisensory visits mean a lot to me, because through them, children and people who have learning differences become very interested in our natural and cultural heritage.
I enjoy sharing information and helping people make discoveries about themselves and the world around them.
Enthusiastic, generous, and patient, I will do everything possible to make your visits enjoyable so you will always remember them with pleasure.
